Efforts have also been made to promote the development of and integrated tourism industry and boost the industry's strength.

Surrounded by mountains and the sea, Yantai city is blessed with a picturesque landscape and four distinct seasons. It is a vibrant and beautiful coastal city, which attracts many tourists every year.

The local government has come up with a raft of preferential policies, including discounted or free tickets to scenic spots and better services for visitors. Tourist agencies have also launched themed tourism products during this summer season, which include  a parent-child summer tour, a seaside tour, a self-driving tour, a cool summer night tour, a fitness tour and a rural tour.

These measures are expected to create a participatory and consuming atmosphere, further stimulate market vitality, unleash consumption potential and boost the sustained recovery of the culture and tourism market, according to industry insiders.
