Weifang doctor sacrifices life to save another

On June 15, Dr Zhang Junqiao, a Weifang doctor serving in Tanzania, gave his life to save another. He was just 38 years old when he died. Dr Zhang often said, "Life is what I value most. If I can save one, I will." 

Beyond surgeries and teaching, he led outreach clinics in remote areas and spent his free time volunteering in the local community. When praised, he humbly replied, "It doesn't matter if you remember me. We are the Chinese medical team." 

Though he is gone, the spirit he carried lives on in every life he touched, and in the team that continues his mission.
