To commemorate the 80th anniversary of victory in both the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the World Anti-Fascist War, an impactful photo exhibition will be held in Tai'an.

Opening to the public at the Tai'an Art Museum from Aug 13 to Sept 6, it is expected to serve as both a profound tribute to revolutionary martyrs and a celebration of the enduring spirit of the great victory.

The exhibition will feature over 300 precious historical photographs and will unfold across five themed chapters, chronicling Japan's atrocities and the subsequent heroic struggle waged by the people of Shandong, particularly those in Tai'an, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

The exhibition includes six new panels specifically highlighting Tai'an's courageous resistance, adding a distinct local resonance. Each image stands as a historical witness, vividly recounting the sacrifices made and the deep meaning embodied within the spirit of resistance.

The exhibition serves a vital educational purpose, aiming to guide citizens, especially the younger generation, to remember history, cherish peace, and embrace the future. By revisiting Shandong's arduous wartime history, it seeks to ignite patriotic fervor, unite collective strength, and inspire contributions towards building a modern China.
