A cultural heritage tour focused on the Yellow River began in Tai'an on June 23, receiving strong support from various provinces within the Yellow River Basin.

Eight cultural heritage interpreters from regions including Ningxia Hui autonomous region, Qinghai, Gansu, and Shaanxi provinces gathered in Tai'an to share diverse cultural heritage stories of the Yellow River Basin, highlighting the region's unique intangible cultural heritage.

Alongside the tours, the event included a cultural heritage market and performances. Representatives from 15 different regions displayed their intangible cultural heritage projects at the market.

Visitors could appreciate and purchase handmade cultural heritage crafts, interact directly with heritage inheritors, and experience traditional craftsmanship. Performances such as suona (a traditional Chinese woodwind instrument) and Shandong Bangzi (Wooden Clapper Opera) offered a visual and auditory experience.

The event served to both present the cultural heritage of the Yellow River Basin and promote the preservation and development of intangible cultural heritage. Through storytelling, performances, and interactions, it celebrated the rich cultural tapestry of the Yellow River Basin, fostering a deeper appreciation for the region's heritage and traditions while supporting the preservation and evolution of these cultural treasures.
