Russian students impressed by Tai'an traditional culture
A group of teachers and students from a school in Moscow, Russia, visited Taishan Feng Yuxiang Primary School in Tai'an on April 5, marking the commencement of a deeply meaningful international cultural exchange event.
Russian teachers and students strolled through the campus, appreciating its unique environment and delving into the school's educational history. The rich cultural heritage and distinctive educational philosophy evident throughout the campus left a lasting impression on the Russian visitors, who were deeply impressed by the historical legacy and educational wisdom of Chinese schools.
The Russian delegation also learned paper-cutting under the careful guidance of Liu Weijuan, a master of paper-cutting techniques. Through hands-on practice, they got a deep understanding of the cultural significance of paper-cutting and experienced how this traditional art reflects people's hopes for a better life.
During the event, the principal of the Russian school noted that the paper-cutting workshop provided a unique opportunity for Russian children to engage with a distinctly Chinese art form, making it an unforgettable experience.
