At Shandong Runtong Gear Group Co in Xintai, a county-level city of Tai'an, the precision of its gears has been elevated thanks to technological innovation. This transformation has made it into the new energy vehicle market and resulted in a more than 10 percent growth in output value in the first half of this year.
Jiang Yong, the company's deputy general manager, highlighted the integration and control of real-time production data, customer information, and warehouse management on the company's operational platform, which has boosted the quality rate of the product from 86 to 99 percent.
This year, Tai'an sets its sights on the "double growth" target for robust new industrialization. By coordinating industrial operations, equipment upgrades, technological transformations, and digitalization efforts, the city has achieved steady industrial economic growth and maintained a high pace of technological investment.
