Taishan district in Tai'an held an opening ceremony for the "Ice and Snow Carnival" as well as the "Shopping in Culai" Yellow River fair at the Culai Mountain Ski Resort on Jan 1.

During the opening ceremony, visitors at the Culai Mountain Ski Resort enjoyed activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile rides, and snow biking.

Local specialties such as strawberries, cherry tomatoes, dried chicken, and pancakes attracted numerous visitors. There were also calligraphers on-site writing fu character for the visitors.

Taishan district has set high standards for the development of ice and snow fitness and entertainment projects. The "Ice and Snow Carnival" series of activities are expected to become an important platform for showcasing the city's image, promoting cultural and sports exchanges, and enhancing relationships. 

In addition, Culai town plays an important role in the development of the cultural tourism industry in Taishan district. It plans to bolster efforts to develop key cultural tourism projects to promote the integrated development of sports, health, tourism, and culture industries to contribute to the high-quality development of the economy and society through a distinctive cultural tourism industry.
