A key cooperation project signing ceremony for Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST) and Tai'an was held on Oct 27 in Tai'an.

The two sides signed five cooperation agreements and 14 key cooperation projects, including strategic cooperation agreements between counties and districts of Tai'an and the university, as well as collaborative cooperation agreements between industrial chains and the university. There were also key project cooperation agreements signed between counties, districts, functional areas, and alumni of the univesity.

The ceremony was aimed at promoting the strategy of building a strong industrial city through new industrialization, fully leveraging the research advantages of universities and the leading role of alumni in high-end talent industries, and promoting information exchange and industrial cooperation between the alumni of SDUST and Tai'an.

During the event, a key industry and scientific research achievement promotion and networking meeting, as well as a series of activities were also held.
