Two Tai'an private enterprises were included in the China top 500 private enterprises list, which was released at the China Top 500 Private Enterprises Summit 2023 held in Jinan on Sept 12.

The two enterprises are Shandong Shiheng Special Steel Group Co and Huatong Holding Group, ranking 202nd and 309th, respectively, on the list.

The rankings are based on companies' revenues in 2022. Shandong has a total of 52 companies listed in the top 500, making it the third-highest province in China in terms of the number of listees.

The list of China top 500 private manufacturing enterprises was also released at the conference, with three private manufacturing enterprises in Tai'an included. They are Shandong Shiheng Special Steel Group Co, Huatong Holding Group, and Taikai Group Co, standing at 138th, 209th, and 394th, respectively.

A project signing ceremony for private enterprises was also held, during which Tai'an saw two projects included – a zero carbon smart new energy project and a supply chain project. The two deals were based on an estimated investment of 7 billion yuan ($963.49 million).
