Shandong Road New Materials Co, located in Tai'an, received the 7th China Industrial Award, the highest award in China's industry, in Beijing on March 19.

Approved by the State Council, the China Industrial Award is praised as the "Oscar" of China's industry, which is given out every two years.

The "China Industry Award" was also given to 19 enterprises and 19 projects and 26 enterprises and 22 projects also won other honors. Compared with previous events, this year's awarded enterprises and projects have played a more prominent guiding role in independent innovation, transformation and upgrading, greening and low-carbon emissions, and industrial chain and supply chain modernization.

According to the company, the awarded project is one of the 15 national energy-saving technology products recognized by the National Energy Conservation Center, and is a substitute for high energy consumption products in China's pursuit of a green, low-carbon and circular economy.

The project is of great strategic significance to build China into a strong transportation network, and boost its infrastructure construction.

The company has made breakthroughs in nine key technologies, and three of which have broken international monopolies. Boasting more than 120 related patents, the company mainly produces high-performance fiber gratings, high-performance plastic gratings, and other composite products, which have been applied to thousands of national major infrastructure construction projects such as the Beijing Zhangjiakou High Speed Railway and new Beijing airport.

In the future, the company intends to continue innovating and promoting the integration of the innovation and industrial chains for the high-quality development of the industry.
