Tai'an in Shandong province held a news conference themed on the digital government and promoting high-quality digitalization on Feb 28.

In 2023, Tai'an plans to carry out work based on an issued three-year (2023-25) action plan for the digital government, said Li Tianbo, director of the big data center of Tai'an.

Tai'an aims to upgrade the digital government by improving government services, increasing efficiency, and boosting governance throughout society in 2023. It also plans to eliminate physical document submissions by the end of June this year and encourage service centers in communities, sub-districts, and towns to do the same.

Departments or relative service centers can get people's information through internal self-extraction, data sharing and other methods.
