Industrial enterprises in Tai'an, Shandong province have been operating in full swing in the first quarter of this year.

Production lines at Lianqiang Yuanda Construction Industry Technology Co, which is located in Daiyue district, have been running at full capacity since it resumed production after the Spring Festival holiday. 

Thanks to the upgrading of production facilities, the workshop is capable of processing about 10 tons of steel per day, and the steel production required for a 3,000 square meter building can be completed by only one worker, according to Shang Funian, a staff at the company.

"The automatic intelligent equipment saves manpower, shortens time and limits waste. The company has also increased its investment in innovation and research, and employees can get rewards from their innovation and research achievements every year, which effectively motivates employees," Shang said. 

The same busy scene can also be seen at Shandong United Pesticide Industry Co, which specializes in the research, development, production and sales of pesticide intermediates, raw drugs and preparation products. 

The company can produce 40 tons of products every day, and has an annual turnover of about 600 million yuan ($91.74 million).

Workers at its branch in Tai'an are working hard to produce pesticides to meet the large demand during the farming season.

The company is well-known for its improved nicotine insecticide system and rich product structure, which are sold all over the country and exported to Southeast Asia, Pakistan and other countries.

On the other side of the city, construction of the Guotai Min'an Pet Food Full-chain Industrial Park project is speeding up. The No 1 workshop and conduct pilot production are expected to be completed at the end of March.

To date, the production workshop on the fifth floor of Building 1 in the park has been finished, the main equipment for the first 50,000 ton full-automatic high-end expanded staple food production line has been installed, and the R&D center and canteen are ready to be furnished. The total investment and building quantity totals about 95 million yuan.
