Tai'an government signed a cooperative agreement with Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine University on June 2 to promote the city's traditional Chinese medicine industry.

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in hosting a high-end forum relating to acupuncture to promote the city's development of acupuncture. They will build an intelligent health platform to serve the city's management of traditional Chinese medicine.

In addition, more efforts will be made to promote the development of Chinese herbal medicine in Tai'an. The two side will make in-depth cooperation in developing new medicine products to explore the medicinal value of herbs on Mount tai.

Tai'an will strengthen the construction of healthcare base with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics and strive to build a regional traditional Chinese medicine center at provincial level. The two sides are expected to cooperate in exploring key medical technologies and specialties.
