Jinan-Tai'an Expressway opens to public

The Jinan-Tai'an Expressway opened to the public on Oct 28, shortening travel time between Jinan and Tai'an to just half an hour.
The expressway, which passes through the southern mountainous area of Jinan, offers picturesque scenery and includes nine overpasses.
The main line of the Jinan-Tai'an Expressway is about 55.9 kilometers long, including 24.6 kilometers in the Jinan section and 31.3 kilometers in the Tai'an section.
The expressway is two-way and has a total of six lanes. It will support speeds of up to 120 kilometers and is expected to help promote regional development between the two cities.
The line also passes through many tourism and cultural attractions, including famous villages, which will provide a significant boost to the local tourism industry. It has been recognized as one of the most scenic expressways in Shandong province.
