Tai'an teams up with Yankuang Group
The Tai'an municipal government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China's leading coal mining company Yankuang Group on Sept 4 to jointly build a logistics park in Dongping, a county in the southwestern part of Tai'an.
According to the agreement, a total of 2 billion yuan ($281 million) will be invested to build the logistic park, which will integrate highway, waterway, and railway transport. The project will be built into a regional transportation center to serve the remote areas of Shandong province and spread to Jiangsu province, Zhejiang province, and Shanghai.
Cui Honggang, Party secretary of Tai'an, said that the government will give full support to the project construction, as well as offer policy support and one-stop government services.
Cui said that the local government will offer timely assistance to solve the difficulties encountered during the settlement of the project to ensure the early start of its construction, as well as its operation.
He also expressed his hope that Yankuang Group will pay more attention to Tai'an, offer more support to the city's development, as well as bring more high-quality resources and talents to the city to advance the city's high-quality development.
Yankuang Group is a State-owned coal company based in Shandong province, mainly engaged in mining, high-end coal chemicals, modern logistics, and trade.
