Mining equipment and technology exhibition held in Tai'an
The fourth China (Mount Tai) International Mining Equipment & Technology Exhibition (CIMETE) took place in Tai'an, Shandong province from Aug 31 to Sept 2.
Sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International trade and the China National Coal Association, CIMETE-2018 focused on the displaying and promotion of new techniques in the mining equipment industry at home and abroad, and promoting cooperation and exchanges among companies and countries to achieve mutual development in the industry.
A total of 356 companies and units from 10 countries and regions were stationed at the exhibition, including China Coal Technology & Engineering Group, Shandong Energy Group Co Ltd, and Germany's Betek GmbH & Co KG. More than 10,000 guests attended the opening day of the exhibition.
With an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, the exhibition displayed thousands of the latest pieces of equipment that are used for prospecting, beneficiation, mining, coal conversion, and other parts of the mining process.
Additionally, a forum discussing the clean and highly efficient utilization of coal and its development was also held during the exhibition, with top experts and professors in the field taking part.
CIMETE was first held in 2013 and has become a biennial event since 2014. It is currently the second largest mining machinery exhibition in China, surpassed only by the China (Beijing) International Coal Equipment and Mining Technical Equipment Exhibition.
