Mount Tai local captures winter's essence
Cold snaps aren't enough to chill the enthusiasm Tai'an locals have for Mount Tai's heavenly beauty.
Understandably, many Shandong folks batten down the hatches and immerse themselves in a good book when the heavy snows envelope much of the East China province. Yan Zi, however, is not one to shy from a slick climb in subzero temperatures.
In mid-December, the Tai'an native clambers around this icy wonderland with her intrepid enthusiasm and eager eye for a good photograph. Here are some of her recent photographs:
