Chiang Kai-shek

Born in Fenghua county of Zhejiang province, Chiang Kai-shek (1887-1975) was the bourgeois politician and the leader of Kuomintang government.
As the commander-in-chief of Northern Expedition army, Jiang came to Tai'an to supervise the Tai'an battle in 1928. It was also his first time to Mount Tai.
After occupying the city, he visited Doumu Palace with his wife, Soong May-ling.
In July of 1929, they visited the mountain again.
