Ode to Mt Taishan, produced by Chinese Linguist sage Ji Xianlin at the age of 94 showed the poet's deep affection to the mountain. Many media, domestic and overseas published the poem.

In scholar Ji's opinion, Mount Tai is the representative of Shandong province. He once said, "Mount Tai's spectacularity and its culture can inspire and enlighten one's life".

He once presented the poem to former Premier Wen Jiabao.

He has not only the intensive accomplishments on ancient Indian culture, Eastern culture and Buddhist culture but also the original sight on Mount Tai culture.

In 1999, scholar Ji once wrote, "Mount Tai is one of symbols of Chinese culture. If to develop Chinese culture, it should develop Mount Tai's culture first." He also wrote in 2000, "Mount Tai is the treasure of China. The mountain's culture is the important part of Chinese culture. I am proud of Mount Tai. All of us should be proud of the mountain's culture."

He said, "The Mountain's majesty and its brilliant culture fully established its sublime place as the symbol of Chinese people."
