Chinese literary master Pu Songling in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) once visited Mount Tai in 1673, and then wrote the poem of Deng Dai Xing and the prose of Qin Song Fu.
In his classic novel Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, there are many short stories based on the legends of Mount Tai such as Ghost Wife.
