Mount Taishan art show

There was a ceremony to mark the opening of an exhibition of calligraphy, paintings, photographs and other works with a Mount Taishan theme, at the Tai'an Culture and Art Center, in the city of Tai'an, in Shandong province, on Dec 26, and the publication of a collection of related works.
To city of Tai'an wants to promote the culture of Mount Taishan, China's most sacred mountain, so it came up with a "4 - 100's" program -- 100 famous Chinese poets of all ages who eulogized Mount Taishan, 100 contemporary Chinese photographers who captured it with a lens, 100 contemporary Chinese calligraphers who praise it in their work, and 100 contemporary Chinese artists with mountain paintings.
So, the new publication contains 100 works of calligraphy, 100 Chinese paintings, 200 photos by 100 photographers and more than 100 congratulatory works that were selected by a panel of experts.
Li Hongfeng, Tai'an's Party secretary who spoke at the ceremony, pointed out that the mountain is an important part of Chinese culture, with traditions and unique characteristics, so, the "4 - 100's" program is an important way for the city to promote culture and prosperity and present the artistic achievements of the program over the past four years.
After this, the show is set to travel to Jinan, the capital of Shandong province, and Beijing, and will likely go on to other major Chinese cities at an appropriate time.
