Exhibition highlighting Yellow River culture on display in Seoul

The Yellow River in the Story - Shandong Yellow River Culture and Art Exhibition is being held on an online platform in Seoul, South Korea, in order to further enhance the friendly relations between the two countries, and promote the diversity and innovation of artistic creation between the two sides.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, and the China-South Korea Cultural Exchange Year. The exhibition is jointly hosted by the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Chinese Cultural Center in Seoul.

The Yellow River is the mother river of the Chinese nation, the symbol of Chinese civilization, and the root and soul of the Chinese nation.

The exhibition consists of 30 pieces of works including traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, and watercolor paintings, which vividly depict the magnificent natural landscapes of the Yellow River section in Shandong, the profound cultural heritage along the Yellow River, and the profound changes occurring in people's daily lives in the new era.

The event is expected to further deepen the cooperation between Shandong and South Korea in exhibitions, and promote more mutual visits, exhibitions, collections and academic activities between artists from the two countries.
