A new boat route for sightseeing opened recently at Daming Lake, a renowned spring water lake in Jinan, Shandong province.

The route will give locals a chance to enjoy the early spring scenery such as blooming plum flowers and flying waterbirds at the Daming Lake Scenic Area.

The circular route begins at Daming Lake's west wharf, passes Chaoran Pavilion, then returns to the west wharf. The boat tour ticket price is 50 yuan ($7.92) per person. Visitors can also get to know the lake's history from the tour guide during the trip.
