Discover beautiful Shandong along the Yellow River
East China's Shandong province has rich cultural and tourism resources, as well as a wide range of intangible cultural heritage items. Recently, the province launched a Yellow River-themed route to promote its intangible cultural heritage items.
The Yellow River is deemed as "China's mother river" and "the cradle of Chinese civilization." The Yellow River-themed route covers nine cities in Shandong, namely Heze, Jining, Tai'an, Liaocheng, Jinan, Dezhou, Binzhou, Zibo, and Dongying. It aims to offer visitors a platform to get immersed in the folk customs and natural beauty of the Yellow River basin.
