Shandong province will promote itself through exhibitions at the 17th International Cultural Industry Fair, which is being held at Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center in Shenzhen, Guangdong province from Sep 23 to 27.

It is the twelfth time that Shandong has participated in Shenzhen ICIF. A total of 83 enterprises and more than 800 products from the province are being showcased at this year's fair, serving as a national platform to promote Shandong's cultural industries.

The main exhibition area will include a 1,200-square-meter area to display themed exhibitions covering creative development, cultural innovation, as well as traditional culture.

"Handmade in Shandong", "Innovation-driven endeavors in Shandong", and provincial cultural heritage items are being highlighted at this year's fair, focusing on masters of crafts, outstanding cultural enterprises, as well as Confucianism.

In addition, a 225-square-meter exhibition area featuring digital publishing will be showcased as well, covering 16 digital publishing companies from major national animation bases, as well as the digital publishing industries, showcasing digital creative innovation in Shandong.
