China Intl Cultural Tourism Fair ends with fruitful results
The five-day second China International Cultural Tourism Fair concluded in Jinan, Shandong province on Sept 20, local media reported.
Transactions at this year's event totaled 437 million yuan ($67.56 million), an increase of 20.2 percent over the previous edition.
More than 500,000 cultural exhibits from 22 provinces in China and 17 countries were exhibited during the fair, making it the largest one over the years in terms of the scale.
This year's event attracted more than 2,600 exhibitors and featured 10 themed exhibition areas covering cultural tourism, animation, Shandong handmade artworks, creative design, rural revitalization, Shandong delicacies, as well as "the Belt and Road." Online transactions were a highlight at this year's fair. The online platform of the fair attracted more than 100 online celebrities and generated a sales volume of 124 million yuan.
