The second China International Culture and Tourism Expo will be held from Sept 16 to 20 in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, via both online and offline channels, local media reported.

The offline main venue in Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center will set up 10 exhibition areas, while the online exhibition will host a wide range of activities covering trade promotion, live broadcasts, project matchmaking, as well as marketing.

A series of activities will be held during the expo to boost the integrated development of the culture and tourism industry, said Shandong officials.

An exhibition in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China will also be held.

Yellow River culture will be a highlight of the expo. A special exhibition area themed on Yellow River culture will be set up. Activities to promote cooperation among regions from the Yellow River Basin will be held.
