Qingzhou brings traditional Chinese opera performances to villages

Qingzhou, a county-level city in Weifang, Shandong province has implemented a series of programs, such as funding cultural activity facilities and bringing traditional Chinese opera performances to the countryside, to enrich villagers' lives.

According to local officials, the city has been ramping up efforts to improve the public cultural service system, carry out public-interest cultural programs, and launch more popular cultural activities, especially in the rural areas, to better meet the intellectual and cultural needs of the people.
