The official website of Friendly Shandong, a comprehensive tourism public service platform by the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, has launched a series of themed activities to help people enjoy the Spring Festival.

As people are advised to stay put during the Spring Festival holiday to curb the spread of COVID-19, the online program provides leisure options such as live shows, VR exhibitions and online theater services for the public.

Shandong's rich and diverse festival customs, gourmet, and cultural and tourism resources will also be promoted on popular social networking services like WeChat and Weibo, as well as short-video platforms like Kuaishou and Douyin.

A series of online activities will also be held to add to the festive atmosphere and entertain the public, according to the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
