Intl fashion show staged in Jinan

The curtain opened on International Fashion Week at the Jinan International Fashion Creative Center on Nov 19.
The fashion show focuses on the fashion industries of China, Japan, and South Korea, and includes an award ceremony by the Asian Couture Federation, a fashion show, forums, and signing ceremonies.

In attendance at the gala were Frank Cintaman, founder and chairman of the Asian Couture Federation, Lie Sang Bong, a famous Korean fashion designer, Yumi Katsura, a Japanese designer of wedding dresses, Paolo Sebastian, a young designer from Australia, and Guo Pei, the only Chinese designer at the Asian Couture Federation.

At the opening ceremony, Jinan Mingfucheng Cultural Tourism Investment Co, a subsidiary of Lixia Holding Group, signed a cooperation agreement with the Asian Couture Federation to establish a fashion design studio in the city.
The two parties have also agreed to maintain a long-term partnership and hold fashion events twice a year in Jinan. Leading designers and fashion institutes from Japan, South Korea, France, and Italy are expected to participate in the events.
The fashion show, which will last until Nov 21, will not only enhance Jinan's international clout in the fashion industry, but also help cultivate high-end fashion talents in Jinan and promote the upgrading and globalization of the city's textile and clothing industry.
