A series of folk performances featuring Chinese traditional folk dances was staged in Jinan, capital city of East China's Shandong province on Feb 7 offering local residents a traditional culture feast.

Since 2003, the show has been held for 16 consecutive sessions. This year's performances covered some typical dance varieties from across China including the waist drum dance from Shanxi province, the lion dance from Hebei province and traditional martial arts. The performances will last till Feb 17.
