Chinese painter Feng Yuan opens exhibition in Shandong
An exhibition featuring works of famed Chinese painter Feng Yuan opened at the Shandong Art Museum in Jinan, Shandong province on March 24.
On display are 302 pieces of Feng's works – including Chinese paintings, calligraphy, illustrations and comic strips, making it the largest ever solo exhibition for the 66-year-old art guru, who is the former curator of the National Art Museum of China.
Feng paints mostly on historical and real-life themes, and is known for his unique style that vividly demonstrates the subjects, said Zhang Wang, curator of the Shandong Art Museum at the opening ceremony.
The exhibition will last till April 20.
