Traditional martial arts display marks Cultural Heritage Day

Shandong Cultural Center held a traditional martial arts performance on June 13, to celebrate the 10th Cultural Heritage Day.

According to the Cultural Center, cultural heritage activities on the day included an “intangible cultural heritages in my eyes” photography exhibition, heritage collection exhibition, traditional drama, and ballad performances.

The center held a series of public service cultural activities on the day, including an “Ink paintings of Mount Taishan” exhibition and children’s painting exhibition.

Shandong Cultural Center, located at the foot of Qianfo Mountain, is a national cultural center and spans an area of 14,200 square meters. Its intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall displays collections through the use of sculptures, animation, projection and interactive audio-visual technology. It plays an important role in the preservation of intangible culture heritages from Shandong.
