Shandong province in eastern China is promoting strategic upgrading of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) through a plan issued in January aimed at reform and innovation.
The China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area, or Qingdao FTZ, which serves as a pilot area for reform and innovation, launched 125 new innovative practices in 2022, according to official statistics.
The finance lab of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area, or Qingdao FTZ, now yields an average of two financial system innovation achievements per month, which has greatly improved the area's financial services.
Since its establishment in 2019, the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone has taken institutional innovation as its core to boost the opening-up and high-quality development of the region, said local officials.
Qingdao FTZ has made 176 institutional innovation achievements and 132 of them have been replicated and promoted in Qingdao West Coast New Area.
The launch ceremony for the "smart form" business registration system for enterprises in the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area, or Qingdao FTZ, was held on June 17.
The China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area recently launched the first smart telephone customer service system for enterprise registration in the city.
