KOTRA Qingdao Trade Center Director Kim Lun-hee emphasized that Qingdao is a gateway for South Korean companies entering China, with half of Shandong's South Korean-invested enterprises located in the city. The zone will continue to strengthen cooperation with local authorities to improve the business environment and support business growth.
Liang Yuanjun, legal representative of a local company, stated in a speech that since the company's start in the zone in 2001, it has received strong support and maintained robust growth. Most notably was its 20 years leading global sales in end mills. He believed that, with joint efforts, the company would seize even greater development opportunities.
The Qingdao FTZ and Sino-German Ecological Park have focused on optimizing the business environment and promoting high-quality economic development. Moving forward, Qingdao will enhance innovation, introduce more policies to support businesses, and foster China-South Korea economic cooperation.
