The China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Qingdao FTZ) has been actively improving the business environment and promoting service innovation with a problem-oriented approach to support enterprise operations and attract talent.

The new immigration service center in the zone has integrated various service resources and served over 100 international students and foreign individuals since beginning trial operations a month ago.

The center offers a host of services, including international talent recruitment and visa and residence permit applications for foreign professionals. Previously, foreigners needed to go to two places to obtain the permits. With the center, they can now obtain all the permit at a single location.

The zone has also implemented an innovative measure called integration of acceptance and registration, which has resulted in the issuance of property certificates within 20 days upon completion acceptance.

The Qingdao FTZ has also established an enterprise-government supervision mechanism and implemented work mechanisms such as "direct access to enterprise appeals" and "instant policy enjoyment" to enhance efficiency and the collection of enterprise appeals.
