The Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Qingdao FTZ) launched a platform focused on comprehensive services for talents and enterprises, the first of its kind in Shandong province, at the area's enterprise service conference on Feb 9.
Local officials and operators of the platform introduced the platform to representatives from enterprises in the area at the conference. After its establishment, the platform will provide various services such as building a complete and up-to-date policy database to help enterprises learn about local policies.
The platform aims to ensure that talents enjoy peace and contentment in work and life and facilitate enterprises' development in the area. It is expected to save enterprises time, energy and resources from non-core affairs that they can then use to build their core competitiveness.
Liu Dechao, chairman of Qingdao Talent Enterprise Comprehensive Service Group, which operates the platform, set the company's targets for this year: providing in-depth services for more than 10,000 enterprises, providing special in-depth consulting services for at least 300 enterprises, helping enterprises raise 160 million yuan ($23.39 million), optimizing financial service product categories, and providing customized legal services for at least 200 enterprises throughout the year.
By leveraging the platform, before the end of the year, the Qingdao FTZ plans to introduce more than 6,500 core talents including holders of undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees, recommend no less than 1,000 people to advanced manufacturing enterprises, increase the talent pool of the area's Talent Hub by no less than 10,000 people, and build an innovation and development platform for the human resource service industry.
