The Shandong Free Trade Zone (Qingdao) International Talents Community Cooperation Hub opened in the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area, or Qingdao FTZ, on Dec 14.
The service center is equipped with 70 shared workstations, three conference rooms, and 32 service windows for foreign-related approvals, international talent policies, financial legal services, living services, and business services.
Qingdao FTZ also unveiled the Qingdao Young Talent Development-Friendly Demonstration Park on the same day. The park intends to focus on attracting young talents and create more open talent development service initiatives.
According to official statistics, Qingdao FTZ currently has 75 high-level talents above the provincial level, including 11 foreign academicians, and has over 2,000 international talents, including more than 400 foreign experts.
Qingdao FTZ continues to provide living subsidies for the international talents, and to date, the amount of living subsidies for these talents has exceeded 10 million yuan ($1.43 million).
