The three-day Yellow River Basin Cross-border E-commerce Expo 2022 ended on Aug 28 in Qingdao West Coast New Area in the coastal city of Qingdao in East China's Shandong province.
As the first professional exhibition for cross-border e-commerce in the Yellow River Basin in China, the expo witnessed various activities and fruitful results. The event served as a cross-border e-commerce exchange service platform integrating image displays, product promotions, trade negotiations, industry forums, and special events.
Deals worth more than 37 million yuan ($5.36 million) were inked and the value of intended deals reached 283 million yuan during the expo, according to incomplete statistics released at a press conference on Aug 28.
More than 300 guests from around the world, including well-known experts and scholars, representatives of international business associations, and representatives of world-renowned enterprises, participated in the exchange event to explore the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry.
The exhibition area of the expo spanned over 20,000 square meters, with more than 400 exhibitors displaying over 12,000 types of goods from 38 countries and regions. Well-known brands accounted for 70 percent of the total brands on display at the expo.
The expo was held both offline and offline. The online exhibition attracted more than 267,000 online viewers and 916 registered buyers, and organized 875 online meetings for exhibitors. The number of viewers for the expo's livestreaming events exceeded 4 million.
