As a pilot ground for reform and innovation, the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area, or Qingdao FTZ, has made 176 institutional innovation achievements and 132 of them have been replicated and promoted in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA).
Wang Juan, director of Qingdao WCNA's commerce bureau, said that introducing Qingdao FTZ's successful practices is conducive to accelerating the transformation of government functions and the reform of systems and mechanisms, promoting development, reform and innovation through opening-up, stimulating market vitality, and further optimizing the business environment.
Qingdao WCNA and Qingdao FTZ have established a coordinated innovation mechanism, with Qingdao WCNA summarizing suggestions from local companies and Qingdao FTZ piloting them.
