The 2022 International Culture and Tourism Month was launched at the Sino-German Ecopark in Qingdao West Coast New Area on June 28, and will until July 24.
The event includes five themed activities, such as a camping festival, an intangible cultural heritage show, and an exhibition featuring cross-border e-commerce commodities.
Sponsored by the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Sino-German Ecopark, the month-long event integrates traditional Chinese culture with international culture and offers local residents and visitors a chance to experience the charming scenery at the park, different cultures and the charm of Qingdao Area's modern development.
At the opening ceremony of the event, Qingdao Area signed strategic cooperation agreements with more than 100 tourism enterprises.
Special tourism lines in Qingdao Area have been launched in December 2021, which connect many hot tourism destinations in the area such as a train-themed cultural park, Bayern Munich Football School (Qingdao), and the world's first Art Piano Hall.
Wang Li, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, said that the Sino-German Ecopark will release innovative measures to foster new tourism products, and promote the high-quality development of Qingdao's culture and tourism sector, aiming to develop it into a livable and beautiful maritime city.
