The city of Zibo, Shandong province recently sent a delegation of governmental officials and local enterprises to promote its national culture export base and business environment in Austria.
Led by Zhang Gang, deputy head of Boshan district, the delegation visited the Central and Eastern Europe Branch of Nouvelles D'Europe, a Chinese-language media outlet that focuses on European news. The two sides discussed ways to explore channels to promote the Boshan National Culture Expo Base and attract more European enterprises to invest in the base.
During a meeting with officials from the economic promotion agency of Austria, the delegation briefed Austrian representatives about the city's business environment, industrial layout and categories of industries.
They also visited a local tech firm, where they learned about the company's latest products and technologies, and introduced the unmanned driving test scenarios in Zibo.
At a meeting with Ni Tieping, head of the Austria-China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the delegation explained Zibo's measures on inviting business and investment, especially the purchase of high-end ceramic and glass products. They also invited the council to perform field observations in Zibo and promote its products in Austria and other parts of Europe.
