Zhangqiu Museum

Founded in 1984, Zhangqiu Museum is located in Zhangqiu district, Jinan, Shandong province.

The museum boasts a collection of about 26,000 cultural relics, including nine national first-class cultural relics and 27 second-class ones.

The collections in the museum come from a wide range of periods, including the Neolithic Age to Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. The artifacts include pottery, porcelain, bronze ware, jade and stone ware, gold ware, calligraphy and painting artworks.

Zhangqiu Museum was approved as a national first-class museum on Dec 21, 2020.

In recent years, Zhangqiu Museum has organized more than 600 activities promoting local culture, including workshops on woodblock printing technique, pottery and the Spring Festival, allowing locals to learn more about traditional culture.
