Jining in East China's Shandong province has made a splash at the 2021 New Growth Drivers Fair, showcasing its social and economic achievements, as well as its advantages.

The fair, which is being held in Shandong's Qingdao from July 15 to 17, is a supporting expo of the 2021 Qingdao Multinationals Summit.

The Jining booth consists of five sections that present the city as a modern prosperous metropolis from different perspectives. Many pictures and videos showcase Jining's advantages in resources, industries, transportation, business environment, and culture, as well as detail its plans for the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period.

At the business exhibition area, a total of 29 Jining-based companies from eight fields, such as new materials, new energy, biomedicine, modern agriculture, as well as smart manufacturing, are exhibiting their products and technologies. Their exhibits include medical robots, thin-film batteries, automotive sensors, as well as other high-tech creations.

Shandong Longyi Aviation Technology Co is displaying a pure electric unmanned drone at the expo. The drone is made from carbon fiber and is equipped with fire extinguishing bombs weighing 25 kilograms. It can respond quickly to fire emergencies in chemical industrial parks, forests, and cities.

In the interactive experience zone, visitors can learn about cutting-edge technologies and products developed by major companies in Jining National High-tech Development Zone, such as Komatsu Shantui, Asteem RV, and Dongyue Group, as well as visit their plants through 3D virtual reality technologies.
