Qilu Software Park is striving to develop its software and information technology services industry.

According to its development goal, the park is expected to achieve revenues in the software and information service industry exceeding 300 billion yuan ($43.17 billion) by 2021, putting it among the top of national digital service export bases.

The park was included among 12 national digital service export bases in China on April 17, 2020, making it the first of its kind in Shandong province.

It's focusing on developing its information and digital industries, covering software, big data, artificial intelligence, Internet applications, and integrated circuit design. A total of more than 2,600 enterprises have been launched in the park.

By 2025, the export value of the park's digital services is expected to account for more than 50 percent of the total in the city, and the number of leading enterprises in digital services will reach 50.

The software park will play a key role in helping the city promote the digital transformation of service exports and boost the development of the digital economy.

Jinan government also released policies on investment, research and development, management and talents, providing a good policy environment for the development of digital services.
