In recent years, numerous commercial entities in the Yantai Huang-Bohai New Area have been upgraded and transformed, driving a rapid evolution of the overall commercial landscape alongside emerging new formats.
Following the expansion and upgrading of traditional businesses, the Zhenhua Shopping Mall in the area reopened on Dec 28 last year, attracting a significant influx of customers with its new shopping environment.
"We have created a comprehensive commercial complex integrating dining, entertainment, and shopping, offering a one-stop, diverse consumer experience," said a spokesperson.
High-quality commercial projects are expanding the area's commercial footprint while also revitalizing its urban appearance.
The Grand Canal Place, which will open in June 2025, will be the first high-end commercial complex in the Bajiao Bay Science and Innovation Zone, creating a clustering effect with the Westin five-star hotel group and significantly enhancing the overall commercial landscape.
Meanwhile, the area is actively working to attract flagship stores of fashion brands and regional first stores.
According to the spokesperson of Zhenhua Shopping Mall, a total of 90 brands have opened their first stores either in the Yantai Huang-Bohai New Area or in other parts of Yantai, including Kelme, Coach, Shiseido, and Estée Lauder.
