Alliance lauched to foster agricultural cooperation between China and CEEC

Shandong Agricultural University led the establishment of the China–CEEC Modern Agricultural Science and Education Innovation Alliance at the Academician Forum on Local Agricultural Cooperation on Oct 16 in Yantai, Shandong province.
The forum was a component of the Sixth China–CEEC Local Leaders' Meeting from Oct 15 to 17, and served as a platform for in-depth communication and cooperation among academicians from China and Eastern European countries (CEEC).
Dr. Boglárka Bán-Gál, governor of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Hungary, congratulated the alliance, stating that it provides a platform for advancing high-quality agricultural development for everyone. She expressed hope for strengthened cooperation and utilization of this platform to contribute significantly to agricultural tech globally.
During the forum, 10 academicians analyzed the new trends of intelligent agriculture and its influence on the global economy and China's new development pattern, highlighting how agricultural tech innovation drives food security, and the nutrition and health industry. They also addressed the potential development directions and challenges in the application of digital information technology in the current global food industry supply chain.
Comprising 64 agricultural universities, research institutions, and enterprises from China and CEE countries, the China–CEEC Modern Agricultural Science and Education Innovation Alliance aims to establish a means of cooperation that advances agricultural tech, talent development, and sustainable agricultural practices.
