The highly anticipated 2024 Yantai Spring Festival Rural Cultural Tourism Festival commenced on Jan 18, and will run until Mar 11.

Highlights include the Yantai People's Spring Festival Gala and various ice and snow sports. The opening event in Longkou city will dazzle attendees with folk performances, a cultural heritage exhibition, and calligraphy.
Phase two: Spring Festival celebrations in villages (Feb 3 - Feb 17)
This segment consists of 32 events, including calligraphy and art in rural markets, evening village performances, and traditional Spring Festival celebrations. Notable events include a cultural heritage fair, a Spring Festival ice and snow carnival, and evening village showcases.
Phase three: Embracing the Year of dragon (Feb 18 - Mar 11)
Dedicated to vitalization, this phase includes 29 events like choir performances, community fitness activities, and lantern festivals. Key events include a dragon dance celebration, Yantai's temple fairs, a lantern festival opera evening, and a lantern riddle event.
