Photographers from China, South Korea exhibit works in Yantai

An exhibition featuring works by photographers from China and South Korea opened in Yantai, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province, on Oct 11.
The exhibition was part of regular photography cultural exchanges between Yantai and Gunsan, South Korea, which is a sister city of Yantai.
More than 200 works by photographers from China and South Korea that document the social developments of the two countries are on display at the exhibition, which will run till Oct 23 at the Yantai Huangbohai New District Cultural Center.
During this period, photographers from the two countries will also visit many places in Yantai to share photography works and talk about their experiences.
"We hope that artists from the two cities can further develop the culture and art of the two countries and deepen their friendships through cultural and artistic exchange activities," said Wong Tai'o, president of the Gunsan City Arts Federation of South Korea.
Wong pointed out that Gunsan has conducted exchanges related to fields like culture and art, sports, and tourismn with 13 cities in China.
This year marks the 29th anniversary of the establishment of sister city relations between Yantai and Gunsan, and the 20th anniversary of photography cultural exchanges between the two cities.
