The 2022 World Industrial Design Conference will be held in the coastal city of Yantai, East China's Shandong province from Nov 11 to 13.

This year's event will take place both online and offline. The 2022 China Excellent Industrial Design will be held during the conference.

The annual conference aims to advance deep integration between industrial design and economic and social development, as well as promote exchanges and cooperation in the design industry between different countries and regions, according to organizers.

The World Industrial Design Conference has been held in China five times since 2016 and has grown into an international platform for gathering global design and innovation resources and pursuing cooperation between countries and regions. 

This year's event will include online sub-sessions in more than 40 countries and regions, inviting scientists, entrepreneurs and famous designers to participate in the event.

The World Industrial Design Conference is the only national-level event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the field of industrial design. It is expected that representatives from 51 countries and regions will attend the event this year.
